Integrating Students

Generalization is a key component of success for children with autism. A primary characteristic of children with autism is a lack of social relatedness. While there are many treatment programs geared toward addressing this problem on a clinical level, our program targets this in a naturalistic setting with trained staff and typically developed children who are taught how to interact with our kids.

BAC Friends

The BAC offers a peer socialization after-school program on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 pm. Children with autism and their typically developing peers from neighborhood schools play together, dance and collaborate on art projects under the supervision of BAC behavioral instructors. If you are interested in participating or volunteering, please contact us at info@brooklynautismcenter.org.
